We’re always looking for individuals interested in supporting our mission with a gift of their time. We are searching for skilled volunteers for the following positions:

Life Skills Instructor

Whether your passion is yoga, financial management, baking or something in between, share your skills with our youth and young adults to better equip them for their transition into living on their own. If you’re good with problem solving, organizing, and team work, you’d be a great asset to help improve processes. Work directly with our Site Monitors to maximize material and donation uses including food, clothing, and storage.

Brand Ambassador

Love Youth Oasis and want everyone else to know about us? We’re looking for a star volunteer to help create and share content on social media and attend tabling events as a Youth Oasis ambassador.

Mentor

Make a difference in the life of one of our youth by serving as a positive role model. Our mentoring is one-on-one with youth 16-21 and calls for someone who is well embedded in the community, healthy and secure, and reliable for consistent face to face interaction.

Community and Group Volunteering

We welcome groups in the community and corporate teams that want to help our youth and further our mission. We have several opportunities for groups to give back to our kids:

Adopt a Dorm

Individuals can adopt an apartment or room to make our living spaces feel more like a home. Participants will be provided a resident profile to help guide them in putting together a package of items and an opportunity to set up the room or apartment.

Host Fundraiser or Drive

We encourage groups to volunteer through hosting fundraisers or donation drives at their place of work/worship/school. Have fun with it and get creative! We’ve had great results with food/supplies drives, auction events, and dress down days.

Support Our Youth

$200 buys one month of groceries and personal items. $250 buys one move-in kit, $50 buys five transportation vouchers, $500 provides diapers. wipes and baby supplies for one month at the Maternity Group Home, $1000 provides rent for one family.
