Baton Rouge, La -- Youth Oasis, an emergency shelter for at-risk youth ages 10 – 17 , a Transitional Living Program for at-risk youth ages 16 – 21, and the Safe Place program, providing ready access to services for at-risk youth, is sponsoring its first annual Celebrity Waiter Event.

The event will take place on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at Holiday Inn Select, 4828 Constitution Ave, Baton Rouge, LA. from 6:00-9:00 p.m. It will feature a fun filled evening of fine food and drink served by celebrity waiters, along with great auction items and some unique entertainment set in an oasis theme.

Chef John Folse is chairperson of our Annual Fund Drive and Greg and Alecia Kleinpeter are serving as event Chair Couple. In addition, funds raised from this event will support the Annual Fund Drive.

We are inviting the Baton Rouge area community to invest in this important work for our youth by supporting this event. Individual tickets and table sponsorships are available.
