I was here was going on outings with other youth and experiencing new things and meeting new youth. But overall this place has taught me to think before I take action in something,  Of course I

can’t stay here forever, I will miss Youth Oasis, but all that was done was for the better. And Ms. Melissa was always there if you needed to talk about a problem. She is like the “head mom” of the house. Overall, Youth Oasis is a great place although it is not permanent when one youth leaves hopefully they learned something and when they leave it gives another to come in and learn something.” - MAH

“Youth Oasis has helped me out a lot, from the first day here to now. I’ve really enjoyed meeting new people and talking with staff. I know sometimes I could act bad but I still like the fact that even though I get in trouble the staff still shows love and care to me. Over the holiday break I thought about my family a lot and how I never really got any and that kinda hurt me but I became happy because I really felt home.
